The Siletz River’s winding 67-mile course begins in Polk County’s Siuslaw National Forest, just roughly 20 miles from the ocean. As Willamette Valley Outfitters’ primary fishery, the Siletz River offers fantastic Salmon and Steelhead fishing year round. It’s no wonder the river is affectionately referred to as a “Fisherman’s Paradise.” From the 1st of October through mid-November, the Fall Kings (Chinook salmon) are our primary focus, then from December to April 1st, we’re out hooking those scrappy winter steelhead. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing day on the water or a challenge to test your mettle, the Siletz is a great all-around fishing river.
